Scope
These terms cover the Teleprompter code, documentation, and other materials owned by or licensed to Salty Panda LLC in this repository (the Software). They do not replace the separate licenses covering third-party libraries, models, or other separately identified materials. Those licenses control those materials, including any rights they grant that are broader than these terms. This is a proprietary license, not an open-source license.
Permission to use this release
If you lawfully receive the Software, Salty Panda LLC permits you to install, run, and make backup copies of this release for your own personal use or your organization's internal use. This includes using Teleprompter to create commercial or monetized videos. No license fee is required under these terms. Your scripts, recordings, and other content remain yours; this license grants Salty Panda LLC no rights in that content.
Source access and contributions
If you lawfully receive the source, you may inspect, build, and modify it for those same uses, for testing and evaluation, and to prepare contributions to Teleprompter. You may share proposed changes with the project's authorized maintainers and collaborators through its approved contribution channels. Keep copyright, license, and attribution notices with copies.
Repository access does not by itself authorize disclosure of private source. Permissions separately granted by the repository host's applicable terms are not limited by this license. Contributions are accepted only under the process in CONTRIBUTING.md and the separately accepted agreement in CLA.md. Reading the source or using the app does not constitute acceptance of that agreement.
Reserved rights
Except as allowed above, by a third-party license, or by applicable law, you may not redistribute or sublicense the Software, publish modified versions, sell or rent copies, or provide the Software as a hosted service without written permission from Salty Panda LLC. No rights to use project names, logos, or trademarks to imply endorsement are granted. Rights not expressly granted remain with their respective owners.
Future releases
Salty Panda LLC may distribute future releases or features under different terms, including commercial terms. This license does not set a price, require a purchase, or promise access to future releases, features, support, or updates. A later licensing change does not retroactively change the permissions granted for this release to recipients who continue to comply with these terms.
Ending these permissions
A material breach of these terms ends the permissions granted to you if it is not corrected within 30 days after written notice from Salty Panda LLC. If your permissions end, stop using and remove the affected Software. This does not terminate rights you hold separately under third-party licenses or applicable law, or revoke rights you granted under an accepted contributor agreement.
Warranty and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Software is supplied without warranties or guarantees, including guarantees of quality, suitability, availability, accuracy, or non-infringement. To that same extent, Salty Panda LLC and contributors are not responsible for losses or damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the Software. Nothing here excludes rights or liabilities that applicable law does not allow the parties to exclude.
